Mail art

For my mail art piece I decided to go with one of my most favorite forms of art, graffiti. I have had a deep passion for street art and graffiti in all of its forms, and considering the subject matter of mail and letters, I decided to play with lettering itself.  Graffiti at times can be very heavy or politically driven, while other times being satirical or comical.  I chose to go with the latter and titled my mail art "Got mail?" Similar to the "Got milk?" slogan, I wanted to riff off of that idea and concept while also having the envelope have a bit more vibrancy.
